ORIENTATION PROGRAMME 2019-20

On 24th, 25th and 26th June, 2019, Orientation Programme was organized for the students of Semester-1 joining Faculty of Commerce for the academic year 2019-20. Students and their parents were invited for the function that was aimed at imparting important information regarding the importance of B.Com programme, the syllabus, the examination pattern etc. as well as making them aware about the glorious past and present of the college. The students witnessed an audio visual presentation about the activities and achievements of the college and the Staff Introduction. Students were explained the syllabus, the structure of the course, examination pattern etc. in detail. CA Aniket Talati, a Central Council Member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India motivated the students to take advantage of various activities held at the college. Explaining the importance of classroom he added, “You can learn about academic topics anywhere else but more important are the lessons of life which you will only learn in Classrooms”. He also mentioned about the CSR and Charity Activities carried out by the students of the college and put emphasis on the mission to prepare good citizens along with professional excellence, through value based education. He also explained the importance of preplanning in life and advised the students to focus on ‘Smart Work’ instead of only ‘Hard Work’. At the end of the function, he solved the queries of the students as well as their parents by conducting a question-answer session.
