GLS University is a statutory state private university established by an Act of Gujarat State Assembly. Headed by Shri Sudhirbhai Nanavati, GLS University has been established with the objective of providing an ideal and creative learning environment and continuing the tradition of excellence in education of the sponsoring body of the University, viz., Gujarat Law Society (GLS). The university is all set to initiate various innovative programmes in diverse areas of Management, Information Technology, Communications, Social Sciences, Commerce etc. Besides the existing B.Com., B.Com. (Hons.), M.Com., BBA, MBA, BCA and MCA programmes, GLSU has also introduced B. Design, M. Design, IMBA and IMSc (IT). GLS University’s strong research culture is reflected in research degree like Ph.D. and  no of workshops, training programmes, faculty development programmes on various aspects of research and the teaching/learning process conducted by the University.
