Did you know? According to a study, 19% of the adult population, 46% of teenagers and 13% of children struggle with mental issues each year. In my perspective, the major reason for that might be one’s ignorance to the sheer value of a healthy mind. One should duly note that mental health is just as important as physical health. Getting monotonous isn’t it? But how many of you actually gave it a grave thought? How many of you readers treat both your mind and physique equally? The other day, I was sipping my tea and came up with this little visual demonstration.

Imagine wounding your finger with a minor blister or a paper cut. You would take all sorts of measures for medicating the finger and protecting it from all factors than worsen the wound.

But what if your mind is disturbed? What If you’re upset about something? In that case, most of us would repeatedly obsess over it and justify it by uttering negative talk about oneself. This act of mistreating one’s mind is just as good as sprinkling lemon on the wounded finger. Treating one’s emotional health with warm care is just as essential as you are treating your body with the same tenderness. Recognize your thinking patterns. Introspect. Judge whether your thoughts are positive or pessimistic. Workout and brainstorm your mind towards a positive mindset. And that, dear reader, is my offering of advice to you in good faith.
